Excellent course

Difficult subject covered clearly and precisely

5/5
Pretty straightforward to work through.

The presentation was thoughtful and accessible, although some of the navigation was not as easy as it could be, i.e. at some points pressing the arrow to move onto the next part of the section seemed to take you onto the next section. The section on transgender discrimination did not precisely prepare you for the question around how to refer to someone post-op, in terms of whether it was prejudice, bullying or harassment. It was not easy to infer the correct answer from the information given at that point.

Easy to follow, kept me focused

Really good Online training course. So simple to use. Did not lose my attention. The test was good and i liked that it told you straight away if you got the answer correct or not.

4/5
Very clear and concise

5/5
A total waste of 5 minutes

This Equality & diversity training clearly discriminates against people who don't have a good knowledge of English grammar. They would have had to watch it, instead of clicking straight through to the end and guessing the answers correctly like we did. If you are familiar with the meaning of the words direct, indirect, associative and perceptive, then you will pass.

1/5
focuses too much on definitions

The training focuses on legal definitions rather than what is wrong with treating people badly because of certain characteristics. I do not think it will change peoples behaviour, it will just let them know the name of their behaviour, for example 'indirect discrimination'. It would be more valuable to have real examples from work places and enable participants to discuss what treatment would be appropriate.

2/5
Very informative and well presented

Easy and understandable visual and written information with excellent video presentation.

5/5
Good but a bit offensive

The course was very informative but I was slightly offended to find the term 'homosexual' used on a number of occasions. Most gay people do not like to be referred to as homosexual as the term was originally used to refer to an abnormality in sexual orientation. Gay is a much better, less offensive term to use.

3/5
Not easy listening

Found it too long and struggled to concentrate on this

2/5
the visualisations more beneficial

i learnt more from a demonstration video than watching just an audio one ? as my concentration levels by just listening to someone talk was alot less than seeing the same material covered by visual demonstrations maybe just a personal observation but i believe i can learn the same as anyone else just for me visual aids 100% better?
