The Equality, Diversity & Inclusion course was incredibly impactful and has significantly enhanced my skills in these areas. The content was comprehensive, engaging, and provided practical insights that I can readily apply in both personal and professional contexts. The online format with well-utilized graphics made the learning experience engaging and accessible. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to deepen their understanding and practice of equality, diversity, and inclusion principles.
A knowledge check after each section to improve engagement would improve the training.
Really useful to keep yourself sharp on things that could be considered wrong/upsetting
Very good looking presentation with some interesting information. However, very preachy and devoid of any humour or any sense of brutal reality. What workplace, school, university, team, club etc., comes even close to the lofty ideals espoused here? Fantasy Island.
Online training courses of this nature are significantly more challenging for people with ADHD - which, given the subject matter, is a little ironic. A classroom environment with a lecturer in front of them is better because there are fewer distractions. However, if you must use online learning, TES has some good advice that should be shared with managers of ADHD staff to be able to support them to complete this here: https://www.timeshighereducation.com/campus/making-online-classes-work-students-adhd
some confusing questions - double negatives
As each section progresses it contradicts the previous. Some of the content is fine but other parts ideological nonsense that is just contradicts earlier sections. If everyone's belief is to be taken into account then 65 odd million people in the UK will need individual procedures in place. Clearly nobody has thought this through.
Yes was good to know, learn some new things regarding eqiiity and diversity
