I have completed E&D training previously and it was rather dry - lots of slides on a powerpoint. I really appreciated the excellent clear videos that accompanied this course. I like the style of this course and found the clarity of the videos helped in my understanding despite the fact that I then hesitated over two of my answers and knew I had chosen the wrong one as soon as I pressed the button!
I found the course to be very focused and I liked the way it was all broken down into short bite-size pieces of information. I was able to go back if needed to and the whole presentation was professionally done and very easy to digest.
Some of the definitions or discrimination were good, clear and helpful and I did learn some new things e.g. 1 in 10 people in the workplace have a disability and there's no compulsory retirement age. But how does this really help us tackle discrimination? - would be good to have more about unconscious bias or how to report/record discrimination and harassment or challenge "micro-aggressions."
One of the trickiest modules I have completed - with very fine distinctions between definitions!
A really good course I found it really made me think about how we should respect each other as humans however diverse individually we are.
