But It was a good course taught me a lot
The course has opened my mind on how employers need to act at workplace. I have learnt a lot.
Lots of areas of interest & a very informative course.
This course is intended for industry, and I am a senior academic but we are forced to take this, so we do. I had to endure platitudes and patronising suggestions, clearly aimed at making me feel guilty of some kind of bias that the presenter was certain that I must have (and I don't — sorry to disappoint). I heard nothing non-obvious, except the legal requirements. As far as presentation, I find sewing animations distracting, they add nothing to the story, nor do pawns moving around make them any more meaningful or helpful. I find representation of people as pawns distasteful anyway. On the positive side, the legal info is genuinely useful and necessary, it should be 100%, not 15% of the show. And it would take 15 min rather than an hour to deliver.
