Whilst I was happy with the training, a lot of the training was still reinforcing a normative standard which ran contrary to the content. Eg, when talking about gender identities and pronouns, training suggested that co-workers might use neutral pronouns. Whilst this is absolutely correct, it also implies that the person being trained would not - thus implying that the normal standard is to use gendered pronouns. This was also true when discussing disability: it was assumed that the person taking the training would be able-bodied and didn't explain how they might go about getting a PEEP etc. Also, it did not discuss the specific company procedure for dealing with harassment and discrimination. It relied quite heavily on describing the 'ideal workplace' and assumed that everyone would work toward that communal goal. This would not be relevant if any employee was actually being discriminated against.
The course provided an excellent overview of the topic and gave real-life examples to help put theory into context. The balance of information and participation was good.
The course covered everything i need to know. I hadn't taken an inclusion course before and I thought I was pretty aware of the issues. This highlighted my gaps and was presented in a really interesting way. The graphics and videos help to keep the topics clear and highlight the necessary points of interest.

The course was very easy to get in to. It had lots of examples which helped explain a little more about certain bits.
Really easy to follow. Engaging Content with good examples. Clear Communication and accessible for those that don't enjoy reading for all the trainings.
