Unfortunately I found this training inappropriate for myself personally. It came over as extremely patronising to someone who is a volunteer in a caring role. It was as if I was being told how I should behave when I already hold the values it represented. Also I feel that the multi choice questions are sometimes deliberately worded to confuse and can be interpreted as correct or incorrect by the slightest nuance.
I enjoyed the EDI and feel I learnt some aspects I don't recall so well from previous EDI training - there were some great links to resources regarding practical ways to improve inclusivity such as using gender neutral language. This is essential not only to our jobs, but just to live responsibibly, compassionately and ethically within today's modern society.
Lot of semantics, rather than good intent. All based on larger scale office, where potentially more resources. Did not count the number of times that ‘should’ was used - which does not necessarily translate into practice. I found this out to my cost even when working for a local authority, & subsequently in a small office.

This course was insightful, and delivered in helping me understand all the key points of E&D. I am now better equipped to implement, challenge and most importantly; change not only other peoples but my own perspectives of society.
