Reflection

Very interesting and complex issue, glad to have done it. Really makes you think how you approach work and home life and the people around you. This was a hard but rewarding training session

Important training but...

This is necessary and relevant training, but for a presenter to state "quite frankly none of your business" when talking about religious needs in the workplace is counter productive. If a person did need time off because of religious needs wouldn't it promote harmony and tolerance if co-workers knew why? And then in the same training we are encouraged to ask individuals what pronouns they would like to be used to address them? "None of your business"????

Helpful information

This was really helpful in setting out how people can be excluded or discriminated against, and it was useful to learn all the laws which protect against this. I also found it helpful to be reminded of all the protected characteristics. The information about the financial benefits of having a more diverse workforce was an eye opener as well!

Great course for everyone

This course has made me to understand that everyone should be respected no matter who they are, where they come from, their beliefs and religion etc. We are all different threads and together we can make a beautiful Fabric.

I found it thorough.

The training made me aware of situations I hadn't thought of. It made me think about my employers and how they may sometimes oversee someone and thier inclusion.

Really interesting and informative

I found this was quite different to the usual mandatory E & D training I have completed previously. It really focused on a positive work environment and how this supports E & D & I. It included relevant work examples and I found it interesting to learn more about equity.
