After not being sure if I liked the course to start with as I felt it wasn't offering me information I didn't already know, I realised that there are far more nuances to it all and learned a lot. As a minority employee myself, it was really empowering and made me think about where my areas of privilege are and how I can make sure I don't take it for granted that we all have the same.
