The course effectively sharpened my self-awareness of postural improvements I can work on to the reduce the risk of MS injuries as I work. The course made valuable links about my responsibilities under H&S to observe good desk or standing desk working to encourage postural and eye health. I found the 20-20-20 rule a good way to prevent myself from screen stress and tiredness which can happen as I hyper-focus unintentionally when I am absorbed. I wear glasses coated with an anti-glare product especially screen-based work.

good and to the point

The topics and steps to take were really clear and practical to implement. There is a lot of content, so it felt like quite a long time to complete the course BUT there were bits where the advice was issued quite fast and I was trying to jot down reminders. Only afterwards did I notice there are some reminder documents near the bottom of the page - but they aren't as thorough as the video.
I found this course to be extremely vital and I believe it should be a general requirement for all DSE users. I recommend the HSE department to engage line managers to ensure this is done. however, I believe these recommendations from this course will ensure staff have a comfortable working environment with all relevant devices needed to ensure a comfortable workspace.
