Easy to follow, practical and useful

I found this course easy to follow and practical. The advice is useful and the videos make it easy to put better ergonomics in the workplace into practice. It makes you think carefully about how you interact with your screen equipment and how you can manage that in a healthy way. Overall I think it was a very beneficial course for using DSE in any setting.

very good

Normal paper assessments can only give brief ideas, this course went into depth not only on the physical equipment but also into the well being of the operator

The video and sound was not sychronising

As above - sometimes the woman's voice was coming out of the man's mouth which was quite off-putting.

Bite sized videos aided my learning.

I have found the iHasco training allowed me to approach my learning, my way. I liked having the ability to stop and start the video as I needed. I often used sub-titles to maximise the learning opportunity by seeing and hearing the spoken word while watching the video. A suggest re the sub-titles could be to move their position lower down, underneath the visual video box area to help avoid obscuring the full video experience. I also appreciated having the transcript of the video in written text form, to go over again if I was unsure of anything. The different graphic images and mini filmed scenarios also helped to maximise the learning opportunities. I have often used different colours when writing or reading text and have found this useful in helping me to recall information, so this is a suggestion for you to think about. I also liked the flexibility of no time limit with accessing the training module prior to taking the test, and that the training video and resources were still available for a short time after completing the test was also useful. I did find having an actual person speaking to me in the video worked well, and now and then some humour was added and this all made the learning very approachable. Also, swapping between the different presenters during the longer learning videos added variety which also helped maximise the learning opportunity for me. To increase your inclusivity, it would be great to see future learning videos showcasing other talented presenters representing more marginalized groups such as presenters showing body diversity, disabled people, and non-binary people. Thank you for the training.

Clear and Informative

Good overview for anyone using a desk, with laptop and devices in relation to best practices, recommendations and things to avoid etc. Opportunity to review your own working environments, posture and other components around home or office working to ensure a healthy balance is maintained. I found the content very well put together and presented.
