The Computer and ICT Training exercise is a very good self help tool. It is informnative and instructive. The sections are clearly explained and easy to understand.
Very useful, although perhaps the links could be quicker/sharper , so too the introductions to each sections. I didn't take the time required because it was 'on the job' training , found the introductions too slow and laborious , hurried on and missed some detail, resulting in 18 out of 20 in the test.
A good DVD that covers all angles
It was useful and informative however it would have been good to know that you can retake the test if you wish but only if you do not log out.
A good clear and effective step by step guide. There is a lot to take in, but having the bulletin points inbetween help refresh what you have learned.
Have completed other training programmes with similar tformat as this one ,thay were all user friendly easy to follow informative and it is learning at your own pace. exellent!
Prior to undertaking this training, I thought that ICT was a bit like chlamydia - how wrong I was! It turns out that chlamydia is the only thing that a badly adjusted workstation won't cause. I will be typing with greater confidence from now on. Thank you Interactive Health and Safety Company!
Slow format, almost too slow but obvious common sense appoach to obtain correct result and understanding.
Treating the users as small children; infantilising style Full of trivial info, some good points. In the same breath, although it happens all over the net, hate being called "Hi" and then first name, that's for firmnds and family only. There some useful suggestion in the training
Comprehensive and practical view of work stations and layout for DSE. Covers most araes, but lacks any guidance in dealing with the Risk Assessments. Suggestions, or feedback from this would enable improvements to be demonstrated for the bill payer, when looking at equipment and systems changes. Test was good and anyone repeating it should be able to achieve high marks and a resulting better understanding.
