THE CONTENTS WERE GOOD, HOWEVER I FEEL THAT A MORE DESCRIPTIVE DRUG AWARENESS MIGHT BE GOOD. AS AN EMPLOYER I AM AWARE OF ALCOHOL ABUSE AND FUNCTIONING ALCOHOLICS AND WHAT TO LOOK FOR. DRUG USE, AND IDENTIFYING MORE SIGNS OF ABUSE MIGHT BE HELPFUL. THERE ARE SO MANY DRUGS AVAILABLE IT SOMETIMES HARD TO CONFIRM DRUG ABUSE, OTHER THAN THE OBVIOUS SIGNS THIS IS JUST MY OPINION
This course covers drug and alcohol issues in the workplace. Whilst it contains useful info, it's not aimed at staff who work with those with dependencies.
I think this was a very good yet simple course that highlights some important points regarding drugs and alcohol and think this would be very useful for all members of staff.
The awareness and content of this course is really good.
Well presented, detailed and informative. I have covered this course before as a volunteer for St John Ambulance but felt this was very much improved.
good visual representation of the drug`s and their effects, I now have a better awareness of the effects of drugs / alcohol and better able to spot the effects
Very helpful and informative even for someone with experience of drug and alcohol awareness.
always good to refresh and renew knowledge base
The course covered a lot of ground but for the most part this was done in reasonable sized chunks. A couple of the early slides were a little too long for my liking and thus led to the need to refocus and concentrate when shorter slides came along.
I learned a lot from this course
