I thought it was very informative and well-illustrated. Although I thought the 'avoid driving if' section unnecessary as it's obvious. The section on distractions, safe driving distances and driving time limits (per day ...) were particularly useful. And it's very useful to have a checklist of items to keep in the car. Thank you.

It was interesting to do the course and it reminds us of the care and attention required at all times.

The training is very thorough and fits in a lot of useful information. I have learnt a lot of very valuable information and as a result will make a few adjustments to my driving habits, for example I will be adding more suggested items to my car emergency kit and collision kit. As it has been such a long time since I took my driving test, I have forgotten certain procedures so it is good to have a refresh.Things to note are that I don't think I would have been able to pass the test if I didn't make notes throughout the training. You are also given a lot of numerical data which is useful to know in terms of getting the message across e.g. the number of road accidents per week etc but I'm not sure how useful it is to be tested on that as I don't think I will be remember all the numerical information as there was a lot. A very good combination of video and slides which gets the information across.

Very interesting. A lot was common sense, but some of the safety instructions were gratefully received.

Very easy and pleasant to follow the presentation and videos are superbly informative and the language used is accessible and straightforward. Some relevant information was new for me and this makes me grateful for the opportunity given.

A private review : I found this an excellent reminder of employer and employee obligations and I certainly learnt a few new things from the programme. I felt that it was well balanced for both the employer and employee with the length and duration both being good. As an employer I do think that your programme is missing a serious duty on the employee to both ensure that their driving license is current (the date can expire and the driver may not know) and also very important the obligation of the driver to notify DVLA of any health related issues (as stated on the DVLA web site). This aside an excellent use of 1 hour of my time and I certainly will be more aware of my driving responsibilities. - Adrian Turner

I found this course very good in its contents, it focuses on a number of important areas around driving and will definitely provide further education for the user.

Generally very good. The training could do with more information on driving vans and other work vehicles as well though
