Needs updating for the so-called 'smart motorways'.Straddling the centre line of a minor road is often safer than sticking to the left hand side: This improves your visibility to oncoming traffic, and improves your view around around left hand bends. It also gives more space for cyclists and pedestrians, potholes, puddles etc. It is quick and easy to move to the left when necessary.
Visually the presentations are engaging and the information provided is clear and concise without it labouring any points. The additional material is very useful too and although we all think we know all there is to know about driving I learnt a couple of things and refreshed things I should already know e.g. Stopping Distances and the Distance you need to be able to read a vehicle registration plate from. Some of the additional learning information about driving abroad was also very interesting and I could honestly say that I didn't know!
