This course was an excellent refresher on Disability Awareness in the Workplace and how we can be inclusive in how we treat someone that has a disability. We always believe we have the best intentions to help people with a disability at work whether their disability is visible or not for them to feel included and not treated as special due to whatever disability they have. However sometimes we forget that the best course of action is always to ask the individual how they feel , when we do that we automatically treat them the same as anyone else. It is always good to refresh your training on subjects like this as nowadays more and more disabilities are becoming invisible.

Personally, I learnt a lot about the differing factors of disability during this training course. I would highly recommend this as a training tool.

When talking about equality it was mentioned on the slides that someone who is deaf there should be subtitles however no subtitles were shown in training.

I think it is so important that everyone has access to this training as I found it very informative and interesting.

A very good and eye opening course. However i personally find certain aspects very sad in so much as people actually need educating to various points.

I've sat through some really awful Disability Awareness and Inclusion training, but this isn't one of them! Having a disability myself, I meet ableism in the smallest ways, but they add up. Just including the social model of disability as well as discussions about ableism and talking about preferences, makes a great course. So thank you, I would 100% recommend!

Really enjoy the course. Lot to take in and made me look at people with a disability in a different light.
