It makes you think of how you see and act towards individuals with a disability. I have an eight year old grandson with Autism. Seeing my grandson's struggles as he battles through everyday life hurdles I have learned that you never assume and you DO become disability aware for visual and invisible disability.
Really comprehensive overview
This was a really comprehensive look at this topic. Well presented and opened my mind to a different way of thinking about disability issues and inclusion
I found the course very interesting and helpful.
The course was very well presented with lots of information that I found useful and helpful.
Helpful
EXCELLENT. WELL explained , good videos.
Positive. Easy to understand.
I would have liked a reminder on what 'protected characteristics' are in the main module (albeit it's in the supplementary info). Great to end with the actors 'lived experience' to encourage conversations. Main take-away for me, ask if the planned team away day (Tidy Taff) suits everyone and if any reasonable adjustments to the day are required.
I enjoyed the course, very informative, interesting scenarios and interesting people
