Some of the information was helpful and informative but some was basic computer knowlege .
I have learnt that Malware can spread very quickly into all computers & devices within the organisation. I have also learnt that devices that no longer work must be securely dealt with instead of damaging the items by hand. I have learnt that all viruses & suspicious emails that you must not ignore the virus update & you must not click on attachments if you are unsure of the email. If computers are working slower or the system has been corrupted you must report the incident immediately.

Although we should all be careful about security and a lot of it is common sense it is always good to have a reminder of where things can slip through the gaps (especially in a College where you can have members of the public looking around who may not necessarily be there with good intentions).
Good information
The password information i found really interesting and will definetly take the advice given. Overall it was well rounded and easy to understand with some good tips and advice.
