Good, but some omissions and untruths

Overall this is a good broad view of cyber security. However, this course perpetuates the idea that viruses can be spread by simply opening a web page. This is very unlikely to occur, provided systems are kept up-to-date with security patches. Even then tricks like Meltdown and Spectre are difficult to exploit and especially difficult to automatically orchestrate to the extent of installing code. If a person does inadvertently click a link and gets a pop-up advertising pills, it's very unlikely that it will lead to a virus being installed and provided all machines have all the requisite security patches and virus updates, even if a virus were to get on the machine its ability to spread would be limited.Additionally, the ghostly apparition turning up to get a serial number from a server was able to walk straight into a server room which had the door left wide open, and no obvious security features fitted to the door. Server rooms have dedicated air-con units which keep the room cold. The technician should not have left the door open, whether leaving the server room for lunch or just for five minutes. Furthermore, even a simple mortice lock as found on most meeting room doors would have been sufficient to prevent this specific unauthorised ingress. Locks requiring a PIN are cheap. Larger organisations will likely already have a RFID card access system which can be used. These are major facets of cyber security - anyone seeing a server room door left open should be questioning why that is the case, and it should be treated like a H&S hazard: never unattended.
