Relevant and well presented.

The course content was relevant and at a level that was helpful to all staff in our organisation. The presenter was clear and engaging in his delivery of the subject matter.

Basics in a nutshell

Thanks to the interactive formula and bite size, short modules, it is not boring and actually keeps your attention to what is being said.

Overall good with some mixed advice

Overall a good summary of advice on Cyber Security, though it does give mixed messages early on telling users to respond to 'Antivirus out of date' or 'AV turned off' warnings then later warning against clicking on popups of the same type. Also the password sections talks about not using dictionary words in one slide then taking two dictionary words and putting them together in the next.

Bite sized videos aided my learning.

I have found the iHasco training allowed me to approach my learning, my way. I liked having the ability to stop and start the video as I needed. I often used sub-titles to maximise the learning opportunity by seeing and hearing the spoken word while watching the video. A suggest re the sub-titles could be to move their position lower down, underneath the visual video box area to help avoid obscuring the full video experience. I also appreciated having the transcript of the video in written text form, to go over again if I was unsure of anything. The different graphic images and mini filmed scenarios also helped to maximise the learning opportunities. I have often used different colours when writing or reading text and have found this useful in helping me to recall information, so this is a suggestion for you to think about. I also liked the flexibility of no time limit with accessing the training module prior to taking the test, and that the training video and resources were still available for a short time after completing the test was also useful. I did find having an actual person speaking to me in the video worked well, and now and then some humour was added and this all made the learning very approachable. Also, swapping between the different presenters during the longer learning videos added variety which also helped maximise the learning opportunity for me. To increase your inclusivity, it would be great to see future learning videos showcasing other talented presenters representing more marginalized groups such as presenters showing body diversity, disabled people, and non-binary people. Thank you for the training.
