The communication skills training course was beneficial in refreshing the information I knew and also gave another perspective on how good communication should come across.

Bit patronising, but some good points. A mention of the impacts of neurodiversity/mental health would be great, to emphasise these aren't one-size-fits-all methods of good communication. Some people with autism find it literally physically painful to make eye contact, while people with ADHD can have trouble not fidgeting. It's ableist to expect actions which can literally hurt people. Similarly, people with anxiety can have trouble maintaining body language which is out of synch with their emotions. None of these mean a person is necessarily not interested or not listening. One person's relaxed body language is another person's lazy or overbearing. Women are penalised socially for appearing 'too assertive'.I don't think this training was *bad* but I'd love a little more nuance on understanding that we all come from different start points.

It was well presented, it kept my attention and made some interesting points. It made me think about the way I communicate, especially face to face.
Very good
