Re: Communication is a Circuit For the response possibility "If the response is NOT expected . . ." one outcome was omitted: – The responder may have interpreted the initial communication in a different way from how the sender meant. viz. a misunderstanding.Assertive - Authoratitive . . . as a Woman? Standing in Superman posture, with legs apart and hands on hips - will block a doorway, but won't look authoratitive to a bloke. They'll probably laugh. (even if silently, inside, if they're at work). To show they're not scared of a woman.The "Cheat Sheet" is a great idea - it forms the backbone for any other notes one may want to make. Once, that is, one has got it out of pdf format, so you can type in other comments where appropriate.Some useful tips and observations.

I noticed in the communications skills training that one of the aids used was to write a note in a bottle and throw it into the sea, not a very good start for the Environmental Awareness training!
