Good course.

An interesting course conveying information which is normally second nature to most mature and/or emotionally intelligent people. Sometimes people mistake assertiveness for hostility, which is really only a reflection of their own lack of confidence, intelligence and maturity when they incorrectly assume an assertive sentence directed at them is hostile which, may lead them to respond in an immature reactive manner. I agree with the presenter of this workshop that you should always be true to yourself whilst respectful of others. Another good point the presenter made was that active listening is key for good communication.

Interesting thoughts

A simple course highlighting errors that most people make in communicating. One thing though; it says 12 minutes duration and it's more like 22 minutes.

It was extremely difficult to follow this without subtitles, I am profoundly deaf, you provide a transcript but trying to follow it simultaneously with the video is tricky. It is somewhat incongruous that this is a course on 'communication skills'!
