Rethink what is happening at work

Good course that will help you to rethink what is happening in the work place by clearly defining bullying and harassment in the workplace

5/5
Relevant, easy to follow and remember.

I found the presentation clear and the images supported what the presenter was saying at all times.. I looked at one bit of additional information and that was good too.

5/5
A little bit boring at times.

One weakness would be an explanation of how to deal with an employee who is ''trying it on''. Like many issues in employment, some less scrupulous members of staff are getting on the bandwagon of making false claims, knowing that it is cheaper to pay up than go through a Tribunal process. The same issues arise from Health and Safety matters. The pendulum is swinging too far in one direction, to the favour of the employee and to the expense of the employer. Justifiable claims 100% OK, but no everyone is as white as snow.

A very helpful course.

I found this a very helpful course. It is very clearly set out, and takes one through these issues in a very practical and accessible way. The slides are nicely designed and well laid out. Overall, this was a very useful piece of training.

It was interesting to study.

I am not a manager and the course seemed to be written from managers' points of view.

3/5
Clear and concise information

The course offered good guidance on how to recognise and distinguish between Bullying, Harassment and strong management; advice on how to approach such situations and advice for dealing and managing these. It also offered guidance on how to be proactive in setting out to avoid such situations.
