Excellent on-line training course

This Asbestos awareness training course was far more informative than other Asbestos awareness courses. Interesting insight into how this was used in past gone years and how this was used on many applications and the potential damage this material can do to the lungs if not aware of the risk.

The narrator – explained clearly and to the point.

Very informative without being too intense

My conclusion to the course, If in doubt, ask.

The training emphasizes that asbestos is dangerous only when disturbed, leading to serious illness decades later. You must report all suspected damage immediately to the employer, who is legally responsible for managing the risk via the Asbestos Register

This Asbestos Awareness training course emphasizes the critical importance of understanding and managing the serious health risks posed by asbestos. The core message is that while intact asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) are low-risk, the danger arises when they are disturbed, releasing microscopic fibers that can lead to fatal diseases like mesothelioma, often after a latency period of 10 to 50 years. Therefore, workers are taught the absolute necessity of immediately stopping work and reporting any suspected or damaged ACM to their employer or duty holder, who is legally required to maintain an Asbestos Register detailing the material's location, condition, and assessed risk.

Great course on important subject.

Very good course well presented on a serious subject.
