The format of the training – small video chunks with a summary slide made for easy to remember viewing. The sections fitted well together and the tone of the training was informative without being boring or condescending. Having lost my father in law to Mesothelioma, I feel its important to ensure the danger of this material is made widely known. It may have been useful to include the information that the dangers are not just restricted to those working with / disturbing asbestos. There are many known cases of partners and children of workers being fatally affected with asbestos related diseases due to exposure to the fibres bought home on the clothes / skin or in the hair. This may help workers think twice about following the procedures regarding damp rags etc.
