Very good

This course proved to be very informative about the condition/s and how to deal with them. I work with a child who has a severe allergy and was glad to learn that we, as a setting, have majority of advised processes in place.

Good for covering the basics

As someone who has completed a paediatric first aid course, this felt quite repetitive as it did not tell me anything I didn't already know and was at times contradicted the training I had recently received - particularly regarding rescue breaths since covid. If I was someone who didn't already have a lot of background knowledge in this area, I would have found it a lot more useful.

Easy to follow but highly relevant.

The course Included essential information for all staff who deal with children with allergies in an easy to understand, interesting and memorable format. The videos were very useful as 'refreshers' e.g. in relation to CPR and how to put a person into the recovery position. It certainly impressed on me just how important it is to know which children have allergies (e.g. when used to cover a lesson), where the medication is kept, who to call for and what to do in an emergency.
