Course Update: Manual Handling Training
Posted 2 years ago
We are delighted to announce that we have updated our Manual Handling Training course!
Since taking the plunge into online learning (almost a decade ago now!) we have released over 150 high-quality eLearning courses.
While many courses’ popularity rightly ebbs and flows based on company needs and the current climate, we have created many courses that have remained (and likely always will) in high demand. One of those courses, in fact, the most popular course we offer, is Manual Handling training and it has recently been upgraded to bring it more in line with the quality you’d expect from any other iHasco course!
To date, we’ve delivered over 1,000,000 training sessions on Manual Handling alone!
The course content continues to align and evolve with current Health & Safety legislation but has been given a new look, in terms of refreshed visuals and a slightly revised script, so you can ensure your learner’s continue to be fully engaged with the topic.
Did you know that incorrect manual handling is responsible for more than a third of all workplace injuries that are reported to authorities each year?
Your duty as an employer
The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 states:
The employer’s duty is to avoid Manual Handling as far as reasonably practicable if there is a possibility of injury. If this cannot be done then they must reduce the risk of injury as far as reasonably practicable.
One of the most cost-effective and simple ways of reducing that risk is to provide your staff with high-quality training.
Our IOSH Approved course is designed to teach all levels of employees how to practice safe manual handling. It can be completed in just 35 minutes and like all of our courses, provides a printable certificate upon completion.
If you already have access to this course, you won’t have to action anything, the updated course will replace your older version in training suites. Training Administrators will still be able to see past results but your staff will be able to access the updated version from today onwards.
Interested in the updated course? You can claim a free, no-obligation trial or request a bespoke quote for your organisation! Alternatively, if you’re already a client, please get in touch with your designated Account Manager who will be more than happy to help.
