Find out more about Charlotte Dibley
When did you join iHasco?
I joined on 12th June 2023.
What do you do there?
I’m a junior scriptwriter, so pretty much what it says on the tin – I help write the training course scripts.
What did you want to do when you were at school?
In primary school I wanted to be a teacher because I craved the power of doing the morning register and calling out people’s names. Genealogist also made a brief appearance. The one constant has been writing – I’ve always loved words!
What do you get up to when you’re not at iHasco?
Usually experiencing some kind of existential crisis. Otherwise, it’s the standard stuff of reading, gaming, watching films and shows. I also like looking for random activities, like vintage fairs, small concerts and wandering around National Trust places!
Where in the world would you most like to go?
There’s many places in the UK that I want to visit – clearly I’m a homebody. Also, Bruges (purely because of In Bruges) and I’d love to see the Northern lights.
What’s your favourite food?
Anything sweet. I’ve got the palate of a child, so I’m not particularly adventurous. Christmas dinner followed by jam roly poly with custard would be my death row meal.
Tell us something we don’t know about you…
I can’t ride a bike. The saying “it’s like riding a bike” is lost on me.
Favourite book or movie?
Too many to name! I rewatch Lord of the Rings every year. I grew up on 80’s films (hello The Princess Bride), so they have a place in my heart.
