This training was highly relevant to the work I do with students, some of whom have asthma.
This user gave this course a rating of 5/5 stars
The course was excellent. It provided much vital and interesting information on how to treat asthma and the appropriate sorts of inhaler to use (according to the type of asthma the individual has). The course also provided guidance about when and how to use the inhalers and what to do to support people who may be suffering from an asthma attack.

Why is this training Asthma Training for Schools & Carers important?
Compliance
It’s important that you comply with the law and know the ways in which it affects you and the way you work.
The Children and Families Act came into force on the 1st of September 2014. It states that children with medical conditions should be properly supported throughout their education and that schools must consult with healthcare professionals, parents and pupils to fully ensure that the needs of each child with a medical condition are properly understood and met.
Parents of children with medical conditions are often concerned that their child’s health will deteriorate when they attend school.
It is therefore important that parents feel confident that schools will provide effective support for their child’s medical condition and that pupils feel safe, and asthma awareness training can help with this.
